The Ministry of Finance is running an international competitive procurement by Request for Bids for the turnkey design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning and three-year operations and maintenance of four grid-scale battery energy storage systems at electricity substation sites. The project aims to strengthen the power grid, support the integration of renewable energy and improve grid resilience to extreme weather events. The procurement is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the World Bank Procurement Regulations.
