Development objective
To assist the PA in (a) minimising the threat posed to humans by HPAI infection and other zoonoses in domestic poultry; and (b) preparing for controlling and re sponding to avian influenza pandemic and other infectious disease emergencies am ong humans. This would be measured by: (i) sustained prevention rate among high- risk groups, (ii) reduced infection rate of HPAI in poultry, (iii) a targeted pe rcentage of farmer's income loss compensated.
