Development objective
The Global Environment Objective is to mainstream sustainable land use and natural resource management into MAFWM's policies, programs and investments. These efforts will be particularly critical for the north of Montenegro, where there are sensitive mountain ecosystems of global importance, and where poor rural residents are largely dependent on the natural resource base for their livelihoods.
