Development objective
(i) to contribute to the gradual reduction of road transport costs and improve access, ease of transit, and road safety along the central part of the Borrowers East-West corridor; and (ii) strengthen the capacity of the Roads Department and relevant government entities to plan and manage the road network and to improve road safety.
